Wedding at Tahoe
Amy and Chad's Wedding at the Edgewood Golf Course, Tahoe, CA. Night time wedding photos showing off the gorgeous reception hall that is right on the lake! We had fun creating this shot at the end of the night under the stars of this excited couple. This was one of my favorite weddings of 2014 and in one of the most amazing locations you can think of. Being big snowboarders, and this being a January wedding, they were hoping for snow, but unfortunately it was pretty nice weather and only a little bit of snow on the ground in the shade. So much for some fun snowboarding photos we had planned. I got to meet Derek Tarpey The Lake DJ (one of the best DJ’s I’ve ever worked with). www.derektarpey.com He has the Emulator - "The Future Of DJing" Emulator is the World’s first and only, SEE THROUGH, touch surface DJ console. It looks Rad, and the first time I had seen one in person. He and his wife were very professional and fun to hang out with. I can’t wait to shoot more weddings in Tahoe. The bridal party has become good friends and I have shot many weddings for groomsmen and brides maids from this one wedding. This was also my first time being in Tahoe and I was impressed. From gorgeous mountains to the clear blue lake, to the top notch resorts, hotels and casinos.
